Student Info Point

The Student Info Point is your central hub for all the support, help, and guidance you need throughout your academic journey. Whether you are seeking advice on course selection, need help with university services, or just have a question about campus life, we are here to assist you.

The Student Info Point is located on the first floor next to your lecture rooms. There you will find staff from Program Services, Career Services, the International Office, the Registrar's Office, Student Recruitment, and us - Student Services.

Lecture period: Mon - Thu: 10 am - 4 pm, Fri: 10 am - 2 pm

Non-lecture period: Mon - Thu: 10 am - 4 pm

Accommodation

Getting around: Semesterticket & more

The semesterticket for students offers nationwide access to public transportation, making it an affordable travel option throughout Germany. KLU degree students receive the transportation ticket at no cost. Find details on validity and how to use the ticket here.

Discounts

Each year, the students of the "Negotiations" class secure excellent discounts exclusively for KLU students. Additionally, through our partnership with the International Student Identity Card (ISIC), you can enjoy discounts across Europe and around the globe.

Student well-being

Counseling and psychological services can support you to manage personal problems and situational crises effectively, learn strategies to cope with academic stress and develop skills for lifelong learning. KLU's cooperation partner Hanza resources offers confidential and free psychological services to all students.

Intercultural Competence Certificate

We invite you to stand out in today’s interconnected world by earning an Intercultural Competence Certificate from KLU. Through a series of events and activities across four modules, you’ll gain insights and experiences that will prepare you for a successful career in a diverse and globalized world.

As a 2024 student intake, don't miss out on the Freikarte, your ticket to incredible cultural experiences across the city—all for free! 

From concerts and theater performances to museum visits and sporting events, the Freikarte opens doors to a world of opportunities.

Navigating life as an (international) student

Navigating life as an (international) student involves understanding and managing several key aspects, from securing health insurance and registering with local authorities to obtaining a residence permit and finding work opportunities. 

Utilizing external counseling services can provide additional support to help you thrive in your new environment. 

With careful planning and the right resources, your international study experience can be both rewarding and enriching.
