heavy reduction! Also, first-year students: Make use of your Freikarte - With the Freikarte you can experience the cultural side of Hamburg for
free!
Freikarte
All first year students receive a so called Freikarte. With the Freikarte you can experience the cultural side of Hamburg for free! From November until end of February during your first semester you can visit a lot of theaters, museums, cinemas and even the Planetarium without paying for it - regardless how often you make use of this offer!
Conditions
- Free entry to all participating cultural institution (museums, theatres, cinemas, exhibitions). Please check the participating institutions here.
- Only for first-year students for a limited time of 4 months (November-February)
- Only valid with your name completed on the card and in connection with your student ID
How to use the Freikarte
- Museums: just show the Freikarte to get in for free
- Theatres/opera/Planetarium/Cinemas: due to the limited number of seats, the principle "first come, first served" applies. 30 minutes before the performance, you will receive a free ticket at the entrance when showing your Freikarte. Of course only in case there are still seats available. Please be aware that premieres and special events are excluded.
