5. Some of my grades are not yet entered and I do not have enough credits. Can I apply?

7. I do have a blocked bank account until April 2025 and with that my monthly income of 1000€ exceeds the limit. Can I apply?
> If your blocked bank account only provides you funds until April 2025, you can apply. Please indicate your blocked bank account in the last row of the financial table. Alternatively, you may indicate it in the monthly row like this: January 2025: 934€ blocked bank account, 520€ student job.

About the DAAD prize
The
DAAD Prize honors outstanding international students who have
demonstrated exceptional academic achievements and social or
intercultural engagement at German universities. By awarding the DAAD
Prize, KLU can honour foreign students for their commitment and at the
same time promote both motivation and diversity at KLU.

As determined by the DAAD, students cannot apply themselves but must be
nominated. Therefore, each year in March we ask staff and professors for
their nominations (deadline for nominations: June 30). Only international students can be nominated.
Eligibility
To
qualify for this award, students must prove both excellent grades and
remarkable engagement in social or intercultural charity work within or
outside KLU.
Application process
After the application
deadline, a scholarship committee that consists of members of the
different Student Affairs departments and the Dean of Programs discuss
and vote on who will receive the prize. The prize is usually awarded at a
ceremony during Welcome Week in September.
