KLU policies & regulations

Understanding university policies and regulations is essential for maintaining a fair and respectful academic & non-academic environment. These guidelines, including the Code of Conduct and the Code of Academic Misconduct, outline the expectations and responsibilities of all students and staff.

Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct
What is most important to all of us is our sense of community. The KLU's Code of Conduct has been formulated to provide a clear statement of the University's expectations in respect to their professional and personal conduct. It applies to all students - both on and off campus. All students sign the document during their enrollment.

The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to promote a sense of community through the cultivation of mutual respect, tolerance and understanding.

Please find KLU's Code of Conduct here.

Code of non-academic misconduct

Each student has the right and ability to make decisions about his or her conduct, and – at the same time- the responsibility to accept the consequences of their decisions. We expect students to take responsibility for their behaviors.

Please note that sanctions will be imposed in case deadlines or agreed expectations are not met (e.g. students do not turn in relevant documents, unexcused absence from events for which students had registered, etc.).

It should be recognized that the existence of this policy is to help and encourage students to achieve and maintain acceptable standards of conduct. Moreover the purpose of this policy is to ensure consistent and fair treatment for all.

Please find more information about non-academic misconduct and details about the sanctions here.
