1. The Big Picture

Module 1 introduces participants to an interconnected and holistic understanding of sustainability and sustainable management and operations. Participants learn to critically reflect on and discuss how corporate activities affect and are affected by the biosphere and what role companies play in a social, legal, and market environment. Together, these insights will provide students with a structured view on corporate sustainability, a concept that focuses holistically on the role of companies in the natural and social environment.
